Brantford’s David Hearn finished tied for 16th at the PGA Tour’s OHL Classic at Mayakoba in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, this week.
After shooting 68-65 in the first two rounds, Hearn found himself in contention but a 73 on Saturday in the third round pushed him down the leaderboard.
On Sunday, the Brantford Golf and Country Club member rebounded with a 68 that left him at 10-under-par for the tournament.
Charley Hoffman won the event with a 17-under-par total.
This was Hearn’s final round of the 2014 PGA Tour year and he ended it in style with a birdie on the par-four 18th hole. Visit http://tinyurl.com/m24umy9 to view his chip in.

The 35-year-old will more than likely begin 2015 at the Sony Open in Hawaii from Jan. 15-18.
